I have a sticker on my desk of a sloth watering a potted rose. I've been meaning to give this sticker to a teacher I know who loves sloths. Today it inspired me to write a poem.

Moving at its own pace
Enjoying the beauty of life
Thriving where it is planted
Like a rose basking in the sun
